Curio Silk (“we”, “us”) is based in Melbourne, Victoria. This policy explains what personal information we collect through curiosilk.com, why we collect it, and how we look after it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

• Your name, email address, phone number, and billing and shipping addresses when you place an order or create an account
• Your email address if you subscribe to our newsletter
• Messages you send us through our contact form or by email
• Basic technical information such as your browser, device and pages visited, collected through cookies

We do not see or store your full card details. Payments are processed securely by our payment providers.

• To send you newsletters and offers, only if you subscribed (you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email)

Who we share it with

We only share your information with the businesses that help us run the store, and only what they need to do their job. We never sell your personal information. These include:

• Payment providers — WooPayments (powered by Stripe), PayPal and Afterpay process your payment. Afterpay may also assess your eligibility under its own terms.
• Order fulfilment and shipping — our suppliers and fulfilment partners, some located overseas (including China), and shipping carriers receive your name, delivery address and contact details to pack and deliver your order.
• Email — our email tools send order updates, newsletters (if you subscribe) and occasional requests to review a product you bought.
• Website, analytics and advertising — our hosting provider, Jetpack (site statistics and security), and Google, Pinterest and TikTok tools that help us understand how the site is used and measure our advertising.

Some of these providers store or process information outside Australia.

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, understand how the site is used, and measure our advertising on platforms such as Google, Pinterest and TikTok.
